CANYON LAKE, Calif. ( KTLA) -- A Riverside County woman died during this week's storm when her car was swept into a flooded wash near Canyon Lake.
The county coroner says 39-year-old Angela Wright, of Menifee, drove through a flooded intersection and was carried away by floodwaters shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Wright's body was found inside the car, which was pulled from the lake hours later.
Canyon Lake is an incorporated community located between Lake Elsinore and Menifee, about 20 miles southeast of Riverside.
