Stolen Vintage Chevy |
LOS ANGELES -- A valuable classic show car was stolen from a locked garage and LAPD detective are trying to find the car and the thieves who took it.
This is not an ordinary car. It is a customized, cherry-red 1957 Chevy BelAir convertable 2-door. The drive-train is chrome from the radiator to the tailpipe. The wheels are custom chrome.
The theft happened Wednesday, July 7th in the very early morning hours from a transmission shop in the 7500 block of Reseda Blvd. The thieves pried open a locked garage door and drove away.
According to LAPD detectives, the car is valued at $150,000.
