Woman Caught Trying to Smuggle Pot in Baby Stroller
CALEXICO -- Border agents have arrested a woman pushing a baby in a stroller packed with marijuana.

The woman was transporting 10 pounds of marijuana concealed beneath her infant in the lining of the stroller, according to federal Customs and Border Protection officials.

The 27-year-old woman from Seeley, Calif., was arrested while walking to the pedestrian border crossing. Officers said she appeared nervous as sh pushed a baby in the stroller.

Her name was not released.

The baby’s relatives took custody of the child.

The bust was one of four unrelated seizures at the border crossing since Tuesday that netted 361 pounds of cocaine and marijuana, with a street value of $1.7 million, officials said.

The rest of the drugs were found in vehicles by drug dogs.
