SAN DIEGO -- Authorities are looking for a burglar who was caught on video -- and caught in the ceiling -- while breaking into a business in San Diego.

The unknown man broke into the former North Park Inn, located at 2625 University Avenue, between 4:00 p.m. on October 19 and 6:30 a.m. on October 20, according to the San Diego Police Department's Western Division.

The building is currently under construction.

Surveillance video captured the suspect climbing through the ceiling into the construction office and then becoming stuck halfway down. He wiggles around, removes his shirt and eventually breaks free.

The suspect then put his shirt back on and proceeded to steal whatever he came for before fleeing. It's not known what he stole from the building.

The suspect, as seen in the video, is described as a black man, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants with a light-colored stripe running across the back and down both legs and white sneakers.
