CINCINNATI, Ohio (KTLA) -- Some students in Ohio now have a big incentive to go to school -- They're getting paid!

Dohn Community High School in Cincinnati just launched a program where students will get weekly gift cards for good attendance and good behavior.

Seniors get $25 cards, and underclassmen get $10 cards.

Also, every time a student gets rewarded, the charter school puts another $5 into a savings account that's paid out at graduation.

The school's principal says the program's goal is to boost attendance and graduation rates.

Private donations are funding the program, the school says.

It's estimated the program will cost $40,000 this year.
