Officials say DUI-related traffic collisions have been on the rise for the last four years.

Police made 732 drunk driving arrests last year, up from 639 in 2010, according to Police Department crime statistics.

Authorities say people hosting parties should serve plenty of food, and offer a variety of non-alcoholic drinks; and determine ahead of time when you will stop serving alcohol, such as one hour before the end of the party.

And individuals who plan to drink away from home during the game should make sure they have a designated driver to get them home safely.

Anyone seeing a suspected drunk driver is urged to call 911.
