LOS ANGELES -- An arrest could happen by Monday in the murder of Monica Beresford-Redman, authorities in Mexico told KTLA.

The only suspect named in the case is the woman's husband, former "Survivor" producer, Bruce Beresford-Redman.

A coffin carrying Monica's body was unloaded from a plane at Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday night and then driven to a holding facility.

Mexican Attorney General Francisco Alor says the body was released to the victim's sister, Jeane Burgos, because the family wants to perform additional tests.

Monica's naked body was found April 8 in a septic tank at the Moon Palace Hotel in Cancun where she had been staying with her husband and two children.

Investigators say she died some time on April 5th.

A police source shared with KTLA that they believe Beresford-Redman strangled his wife inside the hotel room and then dumped her body inside the septic tank, 200-feet away.

Police say they did not have the proper equipment to search the water when Monica disappeared, and did not find her body until it floated to the surface.

Her husband, 38-year-old Bruce Beresford-Redman, a remains the main suspect in the investigation.

He has been ordered to stay in Mexico until the murder investigation is completed.

He has not been charged.

Rodolfo Piego, Asst. State Attorney General, told KTLA that with all the tests and investigations they're running and waiting for, they have the probability that they "can define who the responsible party is."

Beresford-Redman reported his wife missing on Tuesday April 6, telling police and relatives that she never made it back to the hotel after a solo shopping excursion the day before.

But police say there is no record of her having left the hotel grounds.

Security guards check all cars that come and go.

Room number 7816, where the Beresford-Redmans stayed, has been kept under close surveillance during the murder investigation. A security guard told KTLA to stop filming because, "the D.A. has prohibited anyone from filming in the area."

April 8, the day Monica's body was found, would have been her 42nd birthday.

A guest at the hotel reported hearing a commotion coming from the room occupied by the couple on the day Monica died.

The hotel staff in Cancun was notified that the guest heard "a woman screaming for help" around 6 a.m. on Monday April 5.

The guest also reported the "sounds of furniture being moved or thrown" coming from the Beresford-Redman room.

A security guard said that a hotel employee called the room to check on the complaint and said, "A man answered the phone and said that everything was fine."
