SAN BERNARDINO -- A 19 year old man died shortly after he was subdued by police officers with a taser at a board-and-care-facility Saturday, according to officials.

San Bernardino police officers responded to the facility in the 300 block of S. Arrowhead Ave. around 11:30 p.m. Friday to investigate a fight involving 3 people.

According to police officials, the officers were able to separate the fighting parties, but when "one of the subjects became combative and a Taser was deployed to control him."

When the tased man had trouble breathing, police called paramedics to transport him.

The 19 year old died at the hospital just one hour later.

The man's name and cause of death have not been released.
