LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- More drivers were arrested for driving under the influence so far this holiday weekend versus last year, California Highway Patrol officials said Saturday.

While no deaths have been reported in Los Angeles County, DUI arrests are up 7 percent this year to 200. Last year, 182 were arrested for drunk driving over the entire 4 day holiday.

CHP measures deaths and DUIs on roads across California during a 96-hour span between Thursday and Sunday.

Last year over this time period, 4 people were killed in traffic-related accidents L.A. County and 11 were killed across the state.

Since Thursday, 14 people have been killed throughout the state.
