Suspect disguised as Wal-Mart employee allegedly steals 4 televisions from Palmdale store |
PALMDALE, Calif. (KTLA) -- Police say a man, disguised as a Wal-Mart employee, walked out of the Palmdale Wal-Mart store with four televisions.
Detectives say that on New Year's Eve a man dressed as a Wal-Mart employee, complete with a store name tag, entered the Wal-Mart located on 10th Street West at about 7:00 p.m.
Once inside, the suspect grabbed four 32 flat screen televisions and walked out the front door as if loading them for a customer.
The suspect is described as a 40- to 50-year-old black male. He is bald and is approximately 6 tall, weighing around 250lbs.
Using surveillance video, authorities say they've been able to identify that the suspect loaded the televisions in a black truck.
Palmdale detectives are asking that if anyone recognizes the suspect to please contact Sergeant Moore at 661-272-2425.
