ATASCADERO, Calif. -- An 18-month old boy was hospitalized after eating cocaine at his home.
The boy's mother called 911 after realizing the toddler had ingested the drug.
When police arrived at the apartment, they say the boy showed signs of being under the influence of cocaine.
The boy was taken to Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton for treatment. He is now in protective custody.
The child's mother, 20-year-old Priscilla Tabarez, was arrested along with the boy's 26-year-old father, Daniel Sanchez, and the woman's 18-year-old brother, Isaac Tabarez.
They are being held on $100,00 bail on investigation of felony child endangerment.
