SURFSIDE, Fla. -- A man wanted for slapping a crying toddler in a supermarket has been arrested, police said.

According to the mother, the suspect became so annoyed with her 3-year-old daughter's crying that he pushed the girl in her face.

"He just grabbed at her face, and he wouldn't take his hand off," the victim's mother said in an earlier interview.
