LOS ANGELES -- Famed impressionist Fred Travalena, a regular in Vegas showrooms and on late night talk shows, died Monday from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, according to his publicist Roger Neal.

Travalena was diagnosed with the disease seven years ago. He as 66 years old.

Flowers will be placed on Travalena's Walk of Fame star, located at 7018 Hollywood Boulevard, next to the Roosevelt Hotel, at 11:30 a.m. Monday.

The Bronx native was famous for his impersonations of actors, singers and politicians, from Frank Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen to Marlon Brando and Tom Cruise.

The number of impressions he could do earned him the nicknames "The Man of a Thousand Voices" and "Mr. Everybody."

Travalena starred in the specials "The Many Faces of Fred Travalena," "Comedy in the Oval Office," and "A Night with Fred Travalena."

He appeared on " The Tonight Show," "Late Night with David Letterman"' and in the film "The Buddy Holly Story."

Travalena also released the CDs "The Spirit of America," "The Manhattan Christmas Suite," and "We All Need Love Today."

He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2005.

Travalena was born in the Bronx on October 6, 1942. He grew up in Long Island and served in special services with the Army before moving to Southern California in the late 1970s to pursue his career.

Plans for a memorial service, which will be open to the public, will be announced soon.
