SAN DIEGO -- A pilot walked away unscathed Monday morning after his twin-engine airplane crash landed upside down.
The plane came down at the Lake Wohlford Resort Airport, just outside Valley Center, shortly after 8 a.m., according to San Diego County sheriff's Lt. Julie Sutton.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, she said.
No other details were immediately released.
