LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KTLA) -- A former USC lineman was arrested Friday on suspicion of felony domestic violence, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Derek Simmons was a reserve lineman for the Trojans; he completed his eligibility in 2010.
Police say Simmons was arrested Friday afternoon when officers were called to the 700 block of South Carondelet Street.
Simmons allegedly punched a woman.
He was booked Friday and was being held on $50,000 bail.
