LOS ANGELES - Police have released photos of a suspect who tried to rob an ATM customer in the San Fernando Valley.
It happened about 2:10 a.m. Monday at a bank of ATMs in the 20,000 block of Roscoe Boulevard in Winnetka.
Police say the suspect pretended to use one ATM while the victim pulled cash form an adjacent machine.
After the transaction, police say the suspect demanded cash, but victim was able to get away.
Officers are searching for a tan 1997 or 1998 Chrysler Sebring driven by the suspect.
The suspect fled in a 1997 or 1998 two-door tan-colored Chrysler Sebring.
Anyone with information on the robbery attempt was asked to call Detective Steven Speer at (818) 756-3520.
