VAN NUYS (KTLA) -- Police in Van Nuys are asking the public for help identifying vandals responsible for slashing tires around the city.
Between March 19 and March 22, one or more suspects have targeted at least 15 vehicles primarily in the Sherman Oaks area, LAPD said in a statement Thursday.
The incidents usually occur overnight between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Detectives have not been able to locate and video or witnesses in the case and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
They also reminded residents to always park their cars in well lit areas and high traffic locations where suspicious activity can be seen.
