MOORPARK (KTLA) -- Sheriff's deputies arrested a man Saturday they say stole drugs, medical equipment and office supplies from a veterinary center.
Deputies responded early Saturday morning to a burglary report at town Veterinary Medical Center at 245 Los Angeles Ave., where staffers told them what the burglar stole. The deputies viewed surveillance footage showing the burglar and his vehicle.
Detectives conducted an investigation and arrested Michael Lopez, 34, of Moorpark, on suspicion of burglary. Lopez was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance when he was arrested.
Deputies booked Lopez at Ventura County Pre-trial Detention Facility. His bail was set at $10,000.
