SILVER LAKE, Calif. (KTLA) -- A driver in a white pickup truck is leading police and California Highway Patrol on a pursuit that has wound through several major freeways.

CHP officers tried to pull over the truck about 5:50 p.m. on Highway 170 near Winnetka for an unsafe lane-change. The driver did not pull over and law enforcement authorities have been chasing the truck ever since.

The driver is the lone occupant of the truck, according to scanner traffic.

A CHP officer ended the pursuit at 6:41 p.m. with a pit-maneuver in Silver Lake. Shortly after, the driver surrendered and officers arrested.

No one was reported injured.

Little is known about the driver but the truck is fitted with a "cold plate," or license plate that does not match the vehicle, according to CHP officials.
