Christine Darelene Johnson, 47, of Cedar Glen, allegedly stabbed the repo man about noon Friday near a post office in Lake Arrowhead according to a news release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. She is accused of stabbing the man five times in the back and arms when he tried to take her Subuaru Impreza.
Johnson had allegedly purchased it using phony information and the repo main was an agent of the dealer Johnson dealt with, according to the news release.
She rammed the car into the repo man's truck and tried to ram him too as she fled the scene, according to the news release.
Deputies searched for her over the weekend and found her Monday in the 39400 block of Willow Landing in Big Bear Lake. She was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and attempted murder.
She was booked at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. Her bail was set at $500,000.
