An altercation at Rio Linda High School Friday leaves a 14-year-old with a fat lip, and a fear of his teacher.

"Started talking about a ghetto-ass n***** and stuff like that, and then I said I'm not even ghetto.

He started pushing me telling me to go to the office," says Anthony Augustus, Jr. Augustus, Jr. says he refused the order, and that is when the teacher became violent.

"Then he throws me on the ground and does like a wrestling move, and as I tell my cousin to call my mom.

He grabs the phone from me and literally tries to break the phone.

I didn't know teachers could do stuff like that," says Augustus Jr.

The teacher was escorted off Rio Linda High School, by school administrators.

"The staff member has been placed on administrative leave and those are confidential matters," says William Cho, with Twin Rivers Unified School District.

Cho also says teachers are allowed to defend themselves, the investigation will show weather the teacher went beyond protecting himself and turned violent.
