Police are searching for two suspects who they say pushed an 81-year-old off a subway platform after robbing him of his iPhone.According to authorities, the incident happened Friday on the J-line platform at Lorimer Street at around 11:45 a.m.
Investigators say one of the suspects swiped the iPhone from the victim while he was standing on the platform. When the elderly man chased the thief, the second suspect intervened and pushed the man onto the trackbed.
The victim, who wasn't immediately identified was helped back onto the platform by witnesses. He was reportedly transported to Woodhull Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
