Will the Warriors continue their eight game winning streak? Can Alemany once again defeat Notre Dame just as they did on January 19th?

Congratulations to the Alemany Girls Varsity Basketball team's defeat of Flintridge Sacred Heart last week, 54 to 36 and Notre Dame's team on January 31st, 46 to 26.

Last week's "Winning Streak Wednesday" basketball segment featured games between La Serna High School and their neighborhood archrival California High School. As predicted by sportscaster, Avi Bernard, who appears courtesy of Radio Free 102.3 FM, KJLH and www.KJLHRadio.com, the La Serna Lady Lancers varsity team defeated Cal High's team, 57 to 42. Bernard's prediction for the La Serna boys varsity basketball were also correct. The Cal High boys varsity team defeated La Serna, 64 to 40. Rivalries aside, these games were the 1st Annual 'Ballin' 4 a Cure' fundraiser to promote Breast Cancer awareness.
