Most of us love our jolt of java in the morning. But how about having some coffe for dinner?
Nespresso is having an event next week at the Santa Monica Sur La Table in which celebrity chefs representing 3 top restaurants from the LA area will be cooking up various dinner and dessert dishes with coffee; who would have thought right?
The chefs to participate are Jorge Chicas of The Bazaar by Jose Andres (recently given a rare 4 star review by the LA Times); Jon Shook and Vinny Dototo of the superhot LA eatery, Animal; and super-star chef Nancy Silverton of Osteria Mozza and La Brea Bakery. In addition, the event will be hosted by Food& Wine editor and Top Chef star Gail Simmons.
This event is to launch Nespresso's new machine called CitiZ. In addition to this event, Nespresso will have a tented pop-up café completely open to the public for two weeks serving FREE coffee to those who stop by. It will be located at the space as the event - beside Sur La Table in Santa Monica.
