2010 Special Olympics Summer Games

Gayle Anderson was live at Cal State Long Beach for the "2010 SPECIAL OLYMPICS SUMMER GAMES". June 12th and June 13th, Special Olympics Southern California will host the 2010 Summer Games at Cal State Long Beach. The public is invited to cheer on the more than 1,100 athletes participating six different competitions, including Aquatics, Track & Field Athletics, Basketball, Bocce, Golf and Gymnastics. Special Olympics athletes compete in categories based on gender, age and ability level. Including athletes, coaches, volunteers, and spectators, the Summer Games is expected to attract more than 6,000 people during the course of the two-day event.
