The TRANSPACIFIC YACHT RACE event is being held in conjunction with the CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS LONG BEACH SEA FESTIVAL,
a three month long series of beach, ocean and summer fun events celebrating the Southern California experience, which is set to begin the last week of June with events all summer.

Youth Sailing on Tall Ship American Pride
When: 6/25
Where: Rainbow Harbor Youth, ages 8-13 from Long Beach's inner city will enjoy sailing on the American Pride Tall Ship. This 3-hr trip will provide the youth with a brief history lesson and will teach youth sailing techniques and other skills. Visit your local park to sign-up, space is limited. Contact: 562.570.3150
Long Beach Race Week
When: 6/26-28 Fri 1pm Sat/Sun 12pm
Where: This is the largest US West Coast inshore keelboat regatta. Co-hosted by Long Beach Yacht Club and Alamitos Bay Yacht Club, there will be approximately 130 boats competing in seven races inside and outside the breakwater.
