The new Miss America Laura Kaeppeler joined us live to talk about her recent win. Besides sharing what her experience was like competing for Miss America, she talked about her mission to help children of incarcerated adults to feel less alone, to have mentoring and as much of a relationship with their parents as possible. Laura plans to use her $50,000 scholarship money to become a lawyer, specializing in helping children of incarcerated adults.
