Cinderella is a key figure in Walt Disney Co.¿s theme parks, participating in parades, shows and character meet-and-greets with park guests. The iconic building at Walt Disney World¿s Magic Kingdom is known as Cinderella Castle.

She has been the source of operas, ballets and musical theater, including a production by Rodgers and Hammerstein (with Julie Andrews, Lesley Ann Warren and Brandy as the leads in the TV versions). An early film version starred Mary Pickford (1914). The Disney animated classic was released in 1950. More modern variations have starred Anne Hathaway, Drew Barrymore and Jerry Lewis.
