Cinderella is a traditional fairy-tale character who overcomes early obstacles to become a classic princess. The modern version of the story incorporates hateful stepsisters, a magical fairy godmother, a pumpkin-based carriage, a midnight curfew, a glass slipper and Prince Charming.
