    Each year, about 70,000 children end up in the emergency room because of an accidental drug overdose.&nbsp;&nbsp; Dr. Ian Paul at Penn State Hershey Medical Center is working to lower that number.&nbsp; He's involved with shaping the <a title=&quot;Up and Away Program" href="http://www.upandaway.org/" target="_blank">Up and Away Program</a> teaching parents how to safely store medicine up, out of the reach of children.&nbsp; It's part of the <a title="Protect Initiative" href="http://www.cdc.gov/medicationsafety/protect/protect_Initiative.html" target="_blank">CDC&rsquo;s PROTECT Initiative</a>, which also wants stronger packaging for medicine and to educate parents on the proper dosages to give children.&nbsp;
