Known as one of the finest shooters in college basketball history, Redick was selected by the Magic in the 2006 NBA Draft. He left Duke University as the all-time leading scorer in both school and Atlantic Coast Conference history (2,769 points). His rookie season with the Magic was slowed by early back and foot injuries, limiting his playing time as he tried to adjust to the professional game. At Duke, he set an NCAA record for most 3-point shots made (457).
