In 1999, Sapp was voted NFL Defensive Player of the Year as the Bucs reached the NFC Championship Game for the first time in 20 years. Sapp won a Super Bowl title with the Bucs in ¿02 and in March ¿04 signed a free-agent deal with the Oakland Raiders.
