i thought i already posted, but i will write it again. this politician should be ashamed of himself. is he kidding me? is he not living in the real world where people are killed everyday by people who when they are sober, make a conscious decision to get into a car after taking several drinks, when they know they are putting themselves at risk (at the very least), and the rest of the population that is present where they are driving? it really is just assinine to even suggest that government not continue to protect society from these sick, selfish individuals.
don't get me wrong. i think people should get help for their alcoholism, but that doesn't give anyone a pass, or not accepting the consequences for their actions.
